A Tottenham Hotspur washout has made little to no impression on loan, forcing Spurs to cancel his contract.

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to terminate an agreement because the player has not kept his half of the contract.

The Lilywhites have had a successful season, finishing near the top of the table. Tottenham were unbeaten until Monday night’s tumultuous London derby against Chelsea, and they now want to finish in the top four this season.

However, even with flops like Joe Rodon and Sergio Reguilon on loan, there are still players tied to the club who are the result of poor recruitment – and one in particular has been a huge disappointment while on loan in Europe.

Spurs owner Joe Lewis and chairman Daniel Levy have previously presided over some terrible recruitment.

Galatasaray are dissatisfied with their part of the bargain, according to Turkish newspaper Super Haber, after signing French schemer Tanguy Ndombele for the season.

Spurs made Ndombele their record signing when they signed him from Lyon in 2019 for a basic cost of €55 million, but he has been loaned out three times. He won the Scudetto as a squad player with Napoli last season after returning to Lyon for a third stint, but he wasn’t in Ange Postecoglou’s plans in the summer.

The 26-year-old is apparently lacking effort and carrying “excessive weight” in the Super Lig. Gala appears to wish to finish the loan period early.

Ndombele’s physical condition has previously been questioned in public. He was seen working out in a public park with the manager at the time, Jose Mourinho, in 2020 during lockdown.
