According to reports, AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho plans to add another Chelsea player to his squad during the forthcoming January transfer window.

Having already taken Romelu Lukaku on loan from the Blues in the summer, Mourinho is reportedly eager to bring Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah to Roma, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Bayern Munich, who are rumored to be interested in Chalobah, will be a rival for Roma. Under Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino, Chalobah has slipped in the hierarchy this year.

The 24-year-old is currently behind Thiago Silva in terms of team selection and has also experienced hamstring problems. Chalobah has fallen behind other players like Levi Colwill and Axel Disasi, who have not yet played for Pochettino’s team this season.

This makes room for Chalobah, who might be a valuable addition to Mourinho’s team, to perhaps go.
