Tottenham Hotspur has had a successful season thus far, and they still stand a decent chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Undoubtedly, Spurs haven’t had an easy ride; last week was just one of many bad games and outcomes.Nonetheless, Tottenham has significantly improved overall from their somewhat unsatisfactory eighth-place finish from the previous season.

Spurs’ future is bright after Ange Postecoglou thoroughly cleaned house at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham, who have undoubtedly made the most of the previous two seasons, is expected to add additional players during the summer transfer window.

Spurs may be adding additional attacking players in the near future. Should they advance to Europe, they will require both quality and depth in their lineup.

Tottenham were linked with Matias Soule ahead of January transfer window

One player who’d certainly be a good shout for Tottenham is Matias Soule, who has been lighting up Serie A this term.

Spurs were linked with the 20-year-old ahead of the January transfer window, as per Calciomercato. However, nothing came of the speculation.

Although there hasn’t been much speculation linking Tottenham with Soule of late, the player has now revealed that he dreams of a Premier League move.

“My dream is to play in Premier League one day, it’s just a fantastic league,” the Juventus man – on loan at Frosinone – told DS Radio, via Fabrizio Romano’s X account.

Why Matias Soule would be a good signing for Tottenham

Soule is a left-footed player, and with Ivan Perisic no longer at Tottenham, Spurs certainly could do with more left-footers.

Soule, an Italian player, has already made a significant impact in Serie A, scoring 10 goals in 27 appearances. His impressive performance has sparked comparisons with South American legends Diego Maradona and Zico. Claudio Ranieri has praised Soule’s shooting skills, comparing him to Maradona and Zico. Soule is reportedly valued at £34million, making him a potential acquisition for Tottenham. With Spurs’ recent interest in Serie A, Soule could help the Italian prodigy achieve his Premier League dream.
