Al-Nassr’s effort to sign Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur has been made public by the Brazilian media today.

A report from Premier League Brasil claims that the Saudi team is attempting to sign the fullback who signed in the last days of the winter transfer window.

Al-Nassr reportedly made an official bid of €25 million for Emerson, but Tottenham rejected it.

The Saudi team is next expected to make another proposal, this time for €35 million; Spurs’ response to that is yet unknown.
Tottenham is allegedly “satisfied” with Emerson’s performance this season, according to PL Brasil, since he has been helpful to Ange Postecoglou. They are unwilling to discuss his departure in the middle of the season because of this.

There is no indication that the player will push for a move at this time because he is reportedly content at the club and focused on his current situation there.

All we can say is that the increase from €25 million to €35 million is significant and unusual, and Tottenham might find that intriguing if it turns out to be true.
