Spurs are reportedly showing interest in Conor Gallagher, therefore Chelsea is “considering” moving him during the upcoming January transfer window.
During the summer, Stamford Bridge underwent a significant transformation, and at one point, it appeared that Gallagher might be joining some of his former teammates in departing.

Although Gallagher was strongly linked to a £50 million move to Tottenham, a Premier League rival, he chose to stay and has led the Blues on multiple occasions this year.
The English midfielder has initiated 15 Premier League matches this season, but uncertainties about his future persist with his contract set to expire in 2025.
According to the Daily Mail, ‘Chelsea is open to entertaining offers for Gallagher when the transfer window reopens next month to generate funds for Mauricio Pochettino to reinforce other positions in his squad.’
The report details, ‘The English midfielder has 18 months remaining on his contract, and a failure to reach agreement in the coming weeks could result in his unexpected departure midway through the season. Gallagher has not yet been formally presented with a new contract, and negotiations show little progress.
‘In an interesting turn of events, some figures at Chelsea are reportedly arguing that selling the English midfielder makes financial sense, considering the club’s challenges in adhering to Premier League spending regulations and shortcomings in other areas of the squad.’
‘Pochettino is desperate to sign a striker and made a public plea for new players following yesterday’s 2-0 defeat at Everton, with Ivan Toney and Napoli’s Victor Osihem among their main targets. After spending £400million last summer to take their total outlay on new players in the last three transfer windows above £1billion however, Chelsea are close to breaching Profit & Sustainability Rules and may have to sell before they can buy.’
He described himself as a “passable player” on his Obi One podcast. Is he a midfielder for Chelsea? From 11 onwards? When we used to play, would Gallagher be included in the starting lineup? Not a chance, in my opinion.
“When you look at the left-backs we have had, Ashley Cole, Cesar Azpilicueta, and William Gallas, you are talking about these players who have stayed at the club for many years, played so many games, and the standard they have set for that position… for me, he’s not at Chelsea standard,” Mikel continued after speaking about Marc Cucurella.
