Joe Nuttall
After joining the Tangerines in the summer of 2019, Nuttall played in just 27 games throughout his three seasons with the team. He had previously played for Blackburn Rovers.
During this period, the forward only managed two goals for the team and went on loan to Northampton Town. In the end, Nuttall departed in 2022 and joined Scunthorpe United.
Richard Kingson
Kingson joined Blackpool in the summer of 2010 after the team was promoted to the Premier League. In 20 appearances, the goalie kept three clean sheets and allowed 38 goals.
The now 45-year-old left Bloomfield Road after only one unsuccessful season.
Nile Ranger
Ranger spent a season at Swindon Town before signing a contract with Blackpool in the summer of 2014. But even though he made a good impact, he had off-field problems throughout his time at Bloomfield Road. Ranger signed with Southend United in 2016 after making just 14 appearances for the team over the course of two seasons.
Kevin Stewart
Stewart joined Blackpool as a free agent in the January transfer window of 2021, signing an 18-month contract. He only made 25 appearances for the team, however, and played a minor role in earning promotion to the Championship that season.
He eventually left Blackpool at the end of his contract and has yet to find another club.
Barry Ferguson
Ferguson had a promising start to life at Blackpool, but swiftly slid down the pecking order as the club failed to battle for promotion back to the top division.
Andy Reid
The Irish midfielder joined the Seasiders in the January transfer window of 2011, as the team sought to maintain its top-flight status.
The seasoned player, however, was unable to maintain Blackpool in the Premier League, making only five appearances before departing at the end of that season, having spent six months at the club.
Sergei Kornilenko
Kornilenko joined Blackpool on loan for the duration of the club’s one-season stint in the Premier League. The forward arrived with the intention of keeping the squad in the Premier League, however he only made six appearances and scored zero goals for the club.
Blackpool were relegated and have yet to return to the Premier League.
