In his short time in the Ibrox dugout, Rangers manager Philippe Clement has had many challenges, but the Belgian manager has clearly passed those tests as the team has gone undefeated in his first five games in charge.

In the Scottish Premiership, he has won convincingly against Hibernian, Hearts, and Dundee. In the Scottish League Cup, he also triumphed over Hearts.

Meanwhile, the Europa League draw against Sparta Prague indicates that Gers supporters have completely forgotten about former manager Michael Beale.

Even though he had a number of difficulties while in the Ibrox hot seat, the former manager should be commended for signing Abdallah Sima.

The attacker was on a season-long loan from Premier League team Brighton to Rangers during the summer transfer window.

And with the forward scoring nine goals in blue, he has quickly grown to be a fan favorite in Scotland.Sima has now been recognized for his excellent play; according to the Rangers official website (7 November), he was selected the October Scottish Premiership Player of the Month.

Although it won’t be simple by any means, Clement ought to make every effort to get a long-term contract for the 22-year-old.

Free-throw Brighton doesn’t particularly need the forward right now, but between now and the January transfer window, Sima might attract attention from other parties.

Rangers’ upper management isn’t often eager to shell out a lot of money for new players, but if they want to get Sima to Glasgow long-term, they should be giving Clement a blank check.
