Liam Hall
With that stated, teenage goalkeeper Liam Hall of Wrexham is one player we can definitely see moving in January.
The 18-year-old joined the team this summer after moving from Bradford Park Avenue, but due to the club’s extremely congested goalkeeping department, he inevitably finds himself at the bottom of the pecking order.
In fact, if that is all he is doing, it makes little sense for him to keep sitting around and playing development football; therefore, a brief loan deal in January to provide him some playing time may be necessary.
Hall needs a chance to shine because his one-year tenure at the Racecourse Ground expires in the summer of 2019.
Jordan Tunnicleffe
Jordan Tunnicliffe might be another player from Wrexham to watch in the January transfer window. He has so far been a victim of the club’s oversaturation in the center-back position, making just one appearance for Wrexham this year, which was in the EFL Trophy.
This is true despite Tunnicliffe’s prior EFL experience and the fact that he participated in 25 games for the team last National League season. Like Cleworth, if his circumstances don’t change by January, it’s possible that he’ll move on for more routine minutes because he’ll be 30 by then.
Max Cleworth
Last but not least, Max Cleworth is a different Wrexham player who most definitely has a chance to leave in January. Cleworth has only made three appearances for the team so far this season, only one of which has been in a league game. Despite playing in 21 National League games for Wrexham the previous year, this is the case.
The club now has six senior center-backs on its roster, so it’s possible that the 21-year-old won’t have much of a chance moving ahead.
In light of this, if nothing changes when the January transfer market opens, it would be sensible for the central defender to go on loan and accumulate some regular playing time.
