The 22-year-old Longman played for Hull City in 37 Championship games last year. In those outings, he contributed to another goal and two goals himself, making him a flexible option for either wing.

He contributed to eight Championship goals during the 2021/22 season, and at the age of 22, he has played three full seasons at the senior level.

However, given that Longman has yet to play a minute of the Championship game this year, it appears that Liam Rosenior is glad to see him go.

Longman is reportedly on his way to Millwall for a medical today, and despite prior reports that the Lions were interested this week, it has now been stated that a loan agreement has been reached.

Longman, a respectable capture, rose through the ranks at Brighton & Hove Albion.

The attacker had a successful youth career and is currently looking for a senior home.

He has now spent two seasons at Hull City, although many of the players have left the team as the organization seeks to advance.

Longman would be wise to consider a loan move so that he may return to the Tigers with one year remaining on his contract and play a full season of football under his belt. The club can then reevaluate its alternatives.

But for now, let’s hope he enjoys his time at Millwall should this transfer be finalized by tonight’s deadline of 11 p.m.
