The summer transfer window’s final day is today, so clubs around the nation and in Europe will be busy.

Leicester City, a championship challenger, appears to be one of the busier teams with players who appear to be able to go before the 11 p.m. deadline for transfers.

The Foxes have a few players on their radar and those of other teams, including Chair of QPR.

Witcoop now claims that a late Leicester City bid for the Moroccan international can’t be ruled out, with the 25-year-old player ranking highly on the club’s list of potential targets. He has been connected all summer long.

Leicester City definitely likes Chair, and if they lose any players today, particularly offensive guys like Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka, a move for Chair might occur.

Losing the player would be devastating for QPR, but the R’s have been having issues off the field for some time, so it might be difficult for them to turn down a £6 million offer.

Chair won’t stay at the club indefinitely, but R’s manager Gareth Ainsworth will see Chair as a crucial part of their 2023–24 campaign, which appears to be a battle after they dropped three of their first four games.

QPR supporters might be anxiously anticipating the close of the transfer window.
