All Palace supporters should check out “Fantasy Challenge,” the latest weekly game mode variation of Fantasy Premier League.
Gameweek 35’s “London Derby” challenge will award double points to players from the five teams playing in this week’s London derbies: Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea and Spurs both play two games this week instead of just one because it’s a double gameweek, but using Palace assets could help you maximize your score.
With his amazing form of late, striker Jean-Philippe Mateta (£5.1m) would be the first choice of many teams. In GW34, the Frenchman recorded a season-high 29 points with back-to-back braces and an additional assist.
Oliver Glasner took over as manager in mid-February, and since then, he has scored eight goals in nine games. On Saturday, the Eagles will visit Craven Cottage in an attempt to extend their run of success.
Mateta might score an incredible 52 points if he manages another brace with 100% bonus points and you captain him!
Another option with an uptick in form would be the Ebere Eze (£6.1m). The midfielder has two goals and an assist in his last three games, and would no doubt look to add to this in his trip to SW6.
Remember, as a midfielder, Eze would get a whopping 10 points for a goal and six for an assist with the double points on offer.
At the back, defender Joachim Andersen (£4.7m) may prove to be a shrewd option for managers looking to maximise their potential returns.
The centre-back managed to muster 11 points in the previous gameweek, thanks to an assist and a clean sheet, and will again look to add more to his tally against Fulham.
A clean sheet for Andersen will be eight points in this challenge and a goal would be a huge 12 points, so he could prove to be a great source of points in this FPL challenge.
