Kenny Miller is desperate for the Rangers to avoid a sacking culture, which Michael Beale vehemently defends.
If Beale is fired soon, the Light Blues will be looking for their third manager in two years.Who is Michael Beale, the brain behind Rangers' success with an incredible CV who is on Cardiff City's radar - Wales Online

Sacrificing Michael Beale would be the wrong Rangers choice, even if he can’t lead his team to win over St Johnstone on Saturday, according to Kenny Miller.

And the former Ibrox striker claims that doing so will just characterize them as a sack-happy club. Miller has already stated that asking for Beale’s head just four games into the Premiership season is ‘insane,’ regardless of the losses to Kilmarnock and Celtic. But the 43-year-old has defended the Englishman once more, claiming that while he was an assistant under Steven Gerrard in Govan, it took the Liverpool star three years to win a trophy, whereas Beale has a good opportunity of doing so in December given Rangers’ odds of winning the Viaplay Cup after the Hoops were dumped out early.

Beale is undoubtedly under pressure from his own fans, who expect a big result and performance at McDiarmid Park on Saturday, but Miller launched a staunch defense of the ex-QPR manager live on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, arguing that Rangers cannot afford to sack managers every one or two seasons.

“I don’t want Rangers to be a team that starts sacking managers left, right, and center, going through three managers in two seasons,” Miller added. If Beale goes now, you’ll be there.

“Steven Gerrard was given three years without a trophy; Michael Beale is the heavy favorite to win the first trophy this season.”

“He knows where he is, but the bottom line is that whether he wins or loses tomorrow, I don’t think it would be the right decision to get rid of him.”
