In contrast to Manchester United’s matchup with Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich, Newcastle will take on three European heavyweights.

On their long-awaited return to the Champions League, Newcastle United has been given a fantastic draw, facing PSG, Borussia Dortmund, and AC Milan in the group stage.

The Magpies have thrilling matches at St James’ Park against three of the biggest clubs on the continent to look forward to after their previous appearance at the top table of European football in 2002–03.

After defeating Inter Milan in the 2017 Champions League final, Manchester City will begin their title defense with games against RB Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade, and Young Boys.

After winning in Istanbul, Pep Guardiola’s team made history by becoming just the second English club to win the treble.

Harry Kane of Bayern Munich will return to England soon because his new team was paired with Manchester United, with Rasmus Hojlund’s old team FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray rounding up Group A.

After a six-season absence, Arsenal is back in the competition and will take against Sevilla, the current Europa League champions, PSV Eindhoven, the Ligue 1 runners-up, and RC Lens.

This season, Celtic is the only Scottish team competing, and they are in a tough group with Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid, and Lazio.

Some of the competition’s newcomers will also be playing in some high-profile matches, such Union Berlin playing Real Madrid and Royal Antwerp playing Barcelona.
