But Micky van de Ven has stood out as Tottenham’s most impressive acquisition, especially given his immediate influence on the field.
The €40 million transfer of the Dutch defender from Wolfsburg is currently being praised as a steal in light of his accomplishments.
At Tottenham, Van de Ven made an immediate impression and teamed up with Romero to form a strong center defense. His performances were ignored at first, but more recently, peers and commentators have begun to give him the credit he deserves.

Van de Ven’s importance to Tottenham’s playing style and defensive system was emphasized by Coady, who praised his pace and defensive prowess.
He said that because of Van de Ven’s notable accomplishments, he might be regarded as one of the season’s best additions.

“I chose Van de Ven for Tottenham.” He’s been a great addition, in my opinion.
We were discussing the characteristics of a modern center back, but consider Tottenham’s position in the line and their player’s quickness in getting back.
“You previously indicated signings of the season if you are going to play that style and how Tottenham has recruited in terms of buying him. He’d be up there right away. He truly, truly will. It’s astounding. He was a great addition to Tottenham.”
Van de Ven is an ideal player for Ange because of his athleticism and defensive ability. His speed was recently noted as the fastest in the Premier League.
The Dutch center-back was a regular starter for Spurs in all eleven league games at the start of the season, but he suffered a hamstring injury against Chelsea in November of last year.
He missed ten games for the Lilywhites during his nearly two-month absence due to the injury. Still, he returned to the squad during the second week of January, and he has since taken back the starting spot.
