Enzo Maresca, Leicester City’s head coach, has provided a crucial transfer update. Other themes were discussed during his most recent press conference, which took place in the midst of an Italian travel ban. In addition to the press conference, Foxes of Leicester discuss a Foxes player’s recent promise.

The Coventry City game was far from ideal preperation for the crucial upcoming clash with Ipswich Town on Monday. Although, the way the Foxes stuck together could galvanise the team even more than they already are. At present, though, it does not appear that any signings are imminently arriving on Filbert Way. Neither, Maresca confirmed, are any Leicester departures impending. The former Manchester City coach stated that no agreements are close.

Meanwhile Maresca was asked, as expected, about his own moratorium from the sideline. The 43-year-old referenced his two assistants as appropriate cover for his absence. Strangely, the LCFC manager claimed to have no plan for the situation.

Foxes of Leicester discuss a seemingly sincere pledge from Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu

Foxes fans like Fatawu, and the Ghanaian appears to be enjoying himself at King Power Stadium and around England. The flair and optimism of the just 19-year-old footballer is very appealing to the fan base. Choosing to stay and help the cause rather than joining his international side is impressive and shows a certain level of obvious commitment.

However, due to a red card against the Sky Blues, the Sporting Lisbon loanee has suffered a slight setback in his fledging but temporary (at the moment) LCFC career. But Fatawu has been widely backed to comeback strong. He also made an assurance to the Blue Army, his gaffer and teammates which seemed legit, to be fair. The forward said this as he serves a three-match suspension:

“It was so disappointing for me to be the cause of our defeats. I will learn from my mistakes and I will thank my team mates for the effort they gave out, and thanks to the fans for the lovely support.

Only God knows how desperate I was to win this game and only God knows the best. As I am a learner I will learn from my mistake and get better. This will even make me stronger to fight for the shirt and give more to the team to achieve the goal we all want to archive. GOD IS IN CONTROL.”
