Kalvin Phillips, a graduate of Leeds United’s academy, is apparently being pursued by West Ham United, Everton, and Crystal Palace.

The midfielder appears to have no future at Manchester City, where he has struggled to make an impact since joining from childhood club Leeds in 2022. He has only made four Premier League appearances so far this season, and at Etihad Stadium, competition for spots is fierce.

Numerous teams are reportedly interested in the England international, according to Sky Sports. Listed as interested parties are West Ham, Everton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and Juventus.

Manchester City are said to prefer a sale of the midfielder, rather than a loan, although a temporary departure has reportedly not been ruled out.

According to the article, Phillips’ signing may require payment of a loan fee of approximately £5 million, in addition to the full payment of the majority of his salary. As far as Sky Sports is aware, no formal submission has been made to Manchester City, despite rumors that multiple teams have expressed interest.

The 28-year-old is rumored to be of long-term interest to West Ham, but wages may prove to be a barrier. The Telegraph claims that the Newcastle administration does not think it makes financial sense to sign Phillips.

However, the source asserts that if there is any hope that things might change as the deadline draws near, a deal might be salvaged.
