Ange Postecoglou, who acknowledged that his senior assistant has been a crucial component of the project that is underway at the North London club, stated that Chris Davies’ choice to continue at Tottenham Hotspur comes as a significant boost to the team.

Over the past few weeks, a lot of people have been speculating that Davies, who joined Postecoglou’s coaching team in the summer, is one of Swansea City’s top managerial targets (Wales Online).

Matt Law was the Championship team’s original proposal, but Tottenham rejected it, and it was revealed last week that the Welsh team had chosen to go on to other names after the 38-year-old chose to stay at Hotspur Way (BBC Sport).

Following that, Alasdair Gold clarified a few days ago that Davies is loving his time at Spurs and that a “special” offer would be necessary to persuade the former Leicester City coach to leave.

Postecoglou has expressed his happiness with the result, but he has also disclosed that he did not debate Swansea’s approach with Davies in great detail, instead letting his assistant come to his own conclusion.

The Tottenham head coach said to Football.London when questioned about Davies’ decision to stay at the team: “I didn’t have a massive discussion with him.” Chris has come to the conclusion that this is his desired location. fantastic for us.

“As I previously stated, you want the best people, and if you have the best people, people will always notice them. Whenever possible, it’s preferable if they choose to stay with us on their own rather than having us sort of push the matter. Chris kind of figured this is where he belonged, and I’m glad he joined.
