Fabio Silva’s departure from Wolves is expected in January, with the forward reportedly having numerous suitors.

Fabio Silva most certainly saw this season as his last shot at Wolves, and it hasn’t worked out.

Silva joined Wolves for a cost of £35.6 million, but despite his outstanding potential, he has never settled at the club.

He spent time on numerous loans where he was fine, but for some reason he can’t do it for Wolves.

As a result, the best choice at this point is probably to cut ties, especially because Wolves management does not see a future for him. According to a new analysis, that is exactly what could happen.

Fabio Silva is set to quit Wolves.

According to the Express and Star, Silva is in hot demand this winter and will most certainly leave. The Bundesliga is interested in signing Silva, with Eintract Frankfurt, Borussia Monchengladbach, Wolfsburg, and Union Berlin all interested.

Meanwhile, it is believed that clubs in Spain and Italy are also interested.

How much is Fabio Silva going to cost?

As previously stated, the widespread view is that Wolves should simply sell Silva rather than take out another loan, which we agree with.

Selling Silva might be crucial for Wolves in terms of paying some key January signings.

Wolves are unlikely to earn a profit on Silva, so forget about it. However, with a market worth of £13m according to TransferMarkt, this would be a substantial sum.

Given Silva hasn’t played since November 4th against Sheffield United, it’s safe to conclude Gary O’Neil isn’t a fan, and hence taking the hit is the best option for everyone involved.

It’s a shame that it hasn’t worked out for the 19-cap Portugal U21 ace, who was expected to be a world beater when he joined at the age of 17.

Ultimately, his legacy will be defined by the penalty he gave away in his last appearance, as well as the players purchased with his money.
