Despite dominating possession in the first half, Brentford struggled to convert chances until the 30th minute when Shania Foley and Freya Morgan’s press led to Karen Abou-Abdallah intercepting a pass, resulting in Hawkes finding the net. Enfield Town gained momentum towards halftime but faced a resilient Brentford wall.

Foley continued her impact in the second half, setting up Hawkes, whose shot narrowly missed. Both teams sought goals, but Brentford maintained control. Enfield Town’s best chance came from a late free-kick, defended well by Brentford.

Although victory was assured, Brentford pressed for a third goal. Head coach Tommy Ryan-Maynard praised the dominant performance, urging increased clinical finishing. The match provided a positive conclusion before the Christmas break for Brentford Women B.
