The move-in date for Everton’s Bramley-Moore Dock is getting tantalizingly closer every week as updates keep coming in from all over.

People are dying to get their hands on as much content as they can about the new stadium, especially the drone-shot overhead videos and the interior photos. Even though such an occasion is undoubtedly exciting and positive, there is always concern about making sure that everyone at Everton can adjust smoothly and continue to enjoy themselves.

A major worry has been how they would accommodate season ticket holders from Goodison Park in the new stadium with regard to seating. Nevertheless, it appears that this issue has been resolved since Everton’s Fan Forum said on Twitter that “the club are keen to give season ticket holders the choice on where they personally want to sit or stand.”

After Everton leaves, what will happen to Goodison Park?

The Bramley-Moore Dock arena is scheduled to be finished in 2024, though the club is still unsure of whether they will relocate during the 2024–2025 season or beyond. But considering that it made such a tragic departure all the more bearable, there was a great deal of interest in what the club planned to do with Goodison Park following their departure.

With the goal of “transforming the 3.39 hectare site into a mixed use mixed-use development, including housing, commercial space, community/retail uses and open space,” the Goodison Park Legacy Project was established.

Despite the positive effects of the multipurpose health center, shopping centers, green areas, and cheap housing, supporters may find it difficult to witness significant portions of the notorious stadium demolished to create room for a more promising future in L4.

It was the nation’s first stadium designed specifically for football, and it has been home to Everton for 131 years. Few can equal the legacy Goodison Park will leave behind, but supporters will be encouraged that a better future may be created in its place.
