Jordan Rhodes’ seventh goal of the season guided Blackpool to a 3-0 victory over Stevenage.

The Seasiders closed in on the top six, as Stevenage’s mini-blip persisted with a third defeat in four games. Cambridge drew 1-1 with Shrewsbury, with Michael Morrison scoring his first goal in over 16 years.

Ruel Sotiriou’s fifth goal of the season gave Leyton Orient a 1-0 victory at Carlisle. Burton won their third game in a row at Sincil Bank thanks to an own goal from Jack Burroughs. Daniel Mandroiu was sent off for a harsh tackle on Burton attacker Josh Gordon 10 minutes after halftime, and the Brewers took full advantage.

Burroughs diverted Joe Powell’s corner past goalie Lukas Jensen less than five minutes later. With a 4-1 thrashing of previous leaders Notts County, Mansfield maintained their unblemished start to the League Two season.

Dan Crowley scored three minutes in to give the hosts the lead, only for Louis Reed to equalize 21 minutes later. Baily Cargill, Aden Flint, and Lucas Akins scored in the second half to ruin County’s unbeaten home record at Meadow Lane, bringing the Stags within a point of their hosts.

Burroughs skillfully redirected Joe Powell’s corner beyond goalkeeper Lukas Jensen in under five minutes. In a resounding 4-1 victory against the former top-ranked team, Notts County, Mansfield continued their perfect beginning to the League Two campaign.
