“Leeds United’s Upcoming Matches Stand Out in Championship’s Top Six”

Leeds United is one of the early pace setters in the second division and has had a great start to life. With Leicester City and Ipswich Town leading the way at the top of the table, Whites’ supporters haven’t quite had the spectacular start to Championship life they had hoped for.

Still, as the competition nears its halfway point, Daniel Farke’s team is only one point off of third place. With a narrow loss away to Birmingham City and an unusual hiding on the road at Southampton, Leeds had only dropped two of their first 11 games.

Over the course of the season, Leeds can catch up to the top two if they can convert some of their draws into victories. The Whites have some important games coming up. They have a trip to top-of-the-table Leicester coming up, but they also have a bunch of games against teams in the Championship’s lower half.

Leeds will play their home opener against Norwich City, and a victory over Farke’s former team would make a significant impression on their competitors for promotion. With several of the Whites’ early top-six opponents scheduled to play each other, LeedsLive has examined how the team’s next six games stack up against their opponents.
