The most recent Leicester City news and analysis, provided by LeicestershireLive as the Foxes prepare for their upcoming tough test.

There is no denying that Leicester City is the best team in the Championship. They might very well remain there for the duration of the season with 10 victories from 11 games and no signs of slowing down.

Even while his perfectionist managerial style means he will probably never be totally satisfied with performance levels, Enzo Maresca could not be happier, at least with the results.

Anyone you care to listen to is predicting that Leicester will rise immediately, and supercomputers even predict that they will surpass Reading’s previous record of 106 points. However, there have already been testing.

The stretch of games between October 21 and the subsequent international break, which begins after the Foxes’ November 11 trip to Middlesbrough, will likely be the biggest test of Maresca’s term.

The trip to The Riverside will end a very challenging stretch of games for Leicester, which includes three away games and only two at home. While the assignment at Queen’s Park Rangers doesn’t appear to be too difficult, the other four are against some of the league’s most in-form clubs.

Upcoming fixtures

Oct 21 Swansea (a)

Oct 24 Sunderland (h)

Oct 28 QPR (a)

Nov 3 Leeds (h)

Nov 11 Middlesbrough (a)

Resurgent Boro are currently third in the form table, followed by Swansea, Leeds, and Sunderland. If Maresca’s team keeps playing as well as they are right now, they will have completed one-third of the season and will be nearly unbeatable.

However, things could not go as smoothly as they appear to be if the other aspirant clubs in the division can stop their momentum.

Form table (last six games)

1. Leicester W6 D0 L0

2. Ipswich W5 D1 L0

3. Middlesbrough W4 D1 L1

4. Swansea W4 D1 L1

5. Leeds W4 D1 L1

6. Cardiff W4 D1 L1

7. Sunderland W4 D0 L2
