Leeds star criticized as a ‘DIVING CHEAT’ by furious commentator after to dive to get QPR’s Asmir Begovic sent off.
On Wednesday night, a commentator referred to Patrick Bamford as a ‘diving cheat’ after he looked to dive during Leeds’ match against QPR, which resulted in QPR goalie Asmir Begovic being sent out.
Last season, the England international was relegated with the Whites when Sam Allardyce was unable to save their season after being brought in at the eleventh hour.
Leeds, on the other hand, have not been pulling up trees in the Championship, sitting sixth with four victories, two draws, and two defeats as they attempt to bounce back under Daniel Farke.
They did get a critical three points on Wednesday night thanks to a goal by Crysencio Summerville in the ninth minute, but the game was not without its dramatic moments near the end.
Bamford surged free and sprinted at Begovic, only for the Bosnian to spring into a challenge and get himself sent out – but there was no contact despite the striker striking the deck dramatically.
