When they visit Southampton this weekend, Leeds United hopes to extend a winning streak by picking up their seventh straight Championship victory.

When Leeds United play Southampton this weekend, they have the opportunity to make it seven league games without a loss.

The Saints’ recent performances, who have lost all four of their Championship games after going undefeated in their first four, are very much in contrast to the Whites’ current form.
After leaving the Premier League last season, both clubs were considered early promotion contenders; however, they still have a lot of ground to make up to Leicester City, the league’s current leader.

“First of all, we know that we are in good shape and good moments of the season,” Leeds United manager Daniel Farke said prior to the encounter. “We’re thrilled right now. We’re six games unbeaten, four straight clean sheets, really impressive performances, and obviously a really wonderful victory in the last game. However, we are aware that in this league, momentum can change and switch rather quickly, so we must constantly be on guard for that.”

“Southampton will be highly motivated to do exactly this – to use this home game against an opponent with a big reputation like we are, in order to win the momentum. They had a really, really good start to the season, it’s a really good side and then it’s the Championship and sometimes you have periods when it’s tricky.

Leeds coach, Farke is 100 percent confident about there next encounter and that their class will shine at the moment
