Leeds United’s match against Leicester City at Elland Road will be broadcast live on television on Friday.

The start of November’s Championship match between Leeds United and Leicester City has been rescheduled to accommodate live television coverage. Under the Friday night lights at Elland Road, the two relegated teams—as well as two of the betting favorites for promotion—will square off.

The match will now begin on Friday, November 3 at 8pm instead of Saturday, November 4 at 3pm as originally planned. It will be the sixth Leeds game chosen for live Sky Sports coverage of the season. The team has previously had three of its games (against Cardiff City, West Brom, and Millwall) televised on television. Saturday’s game at Southampton and the trip to Stoke City on October 25 will also be live.

The match between Leeds United and Leicester City will now be broadcast on television.

Leeds lagged behind Leicester by eight points in the early table after a slower start, but they have picked up speed in recent weeks. They will be trying to close that deficit before the two teams square up in front of the cameras at the beginning of November.

Prior to traveling to Elland Road, Leicester must play Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End, Stoke City, Swansea City, Sunderland, and QPR, while Daniel Farke’s team must contend with Southampton, QPR, Bristol City, Norwich City, Stoke City, and Huddersfield Town during the course of the next five weeks.
