David Moyes has confessed that one of West Ham United’s recent signings has impressed him.

David Moyes, the manager of West Ham United, made four genuinely fantastic new additions during the summer transfer window.

Mohammed Kudus, James Ward-Prowse, Edson Alvarez, and Konstantinos Mavropanos were all brought to the London Stadium for a combined fee of almost £120 million.

Despite the fact that Declan Rice left the club to join Arsenal in the summer, the Hammers manager has obviously strengthened his squad.

And it appears that one summer signing in particular has already impressed Moyes…

David Moyes gushes about West Ham’s newcomer
The Hammers manager was speaking to reporters ahead of their Europa League match against Backa Topola tomorrow night.

The Scot is anticipated to make wholesale changes for the meeting, with some of the peripheral players getting a chance to shine.

Mohammed Kudus is one of the players that sorely needs a start. He’s only played 23 minutes for the club since joining from Ajax in the summer.

And, as stated by WHUFC.com, Moyes answered when asked what he thought of the attacking midfielder so far:

“I like what I see, and he appears to be a very good player.” That’s why we brought him, and maybe we’ll be able to give him a chance to show what he’s capable of in the coming weeks. We just wanted to give him some breathing room and not put too much pressure on him too quickly.”

I’m hoping to see Kudus start against Backa Topola in the Europa League tomorrow.

He is a fantastic talent, and getting him up to speed as soon as possible will be critical as we attempt to compete on all fronts this season.

Moyes is well-known for gradually integrating new foreign signings into the team.

That has not been the case with Kudus.
