Listen to Gary Issott, the man responsible for the 16 years of Academy grads.
In November, the Crystal Palace Business Club will host a speaker who has influenced the lives of many people, including Wilfried Zaha, Tyrick Mitchell, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and many more: Director Gary Issott of the Academy.
Issott has been a crucial component of the Academy’s work for more than 15 years, producing football players, and he was instrumental in the transformation of Palace Academy into the elite, Category 1 status organization it is today.
In fact, under Issott’s leadership, Palace’s Academy has grown to be the envy of many youth programs around the nation, with more than 40 Academy alums earning a combined total of more than 1,000 senior appearances for the club. Many others have succeeded in other places as well.
Gary will answer questions from Business Club attendees and talk about his broad background in youth development, his experiences of working with Palace’s future stars, and his expertise in maximizing the potential of elite talent.
On Thursday, November 30, from 11:30 to 16:00 BST, Issott will speak to visitors at Selhurst Park.
Both rates include a three-course meal, wine, and an optional, complimentary private stadium tour. Tables of 10 cost £600+VAT; individuals can pay £65+VAT.
This year’s Business Club speakers were former Palace Head of Player Care Danny Young and boxing trainer Adam Booth. Hal Robson-Kanu of Wales, Chairman Steve Parish, Journalist Neil Ashton, and CEO of BOXPARK Richard Wade are some former visitors.
