Harry Tyrer’s recent achievements force Sean Dyche to include him in Everton’s preseason roster.

On March 23, the 22-year-old and Chesterfield won the National League, bringing an end to their six-year stay in the fifth division.

He played for them this season, making 47 games, and he recently expressed his satisfaction with their performance to Everton FC.

“We’ve worked for it all season,” he remarked.

“We had a terrific victory and a fantastic season finale. It’s good to cross the boundary.

“The crowd cheered me on and gave me a little song from the very first minute of preseason. Here, the supporters have been excellent.

Sean Dyche surely will be thrilled and could give him a chance at Everton

Talented Goalkeeper Signs First Pro Deal

Tyrer’s outstanding loan stint at Chesterfield, which led to their promotion to League Two, may draw Dyche’s attention in the preseason.

The 22-year-old goalie showed off his skills by keeping 11 straight clean sheets in the National League. He also showed off his ability to stop shots and maintain cool under duress.

His performances have not only earned praise from Chesterfield’s coaching staff but also highlighted his potential for a bright future in goalkeeping.

Dyche, known for his emphasis on defensive solidity, could see Tyrer as a valuable addition to Everton’s goalkeeping ranks.

Jordan Pickford could help him as well

With current first-choice goalkeeper Jordan Pickford performing exceptionally well, Tyrer could initially slot in as a second or third-choice goalkeeper and could learn things from the England number one.

His development under Dyche’s tutelage could further enhance his skills and maturity, providing the Toffees with a reliable backup option for the future.

Furthermore, Tyrer’s upbringing at Finch Farm and the club’s strong academy ties suggest a seamless integration into the first-team setup.

Dyche’s reputation for nurturing young talent and instilling a disciplined defensive mindset aligns with Tyrer’s attributes, making him a viable candidate for consideration during pre-season preparations.

Tyrer’s continued presence in Everton’s lineup might give Dyche more options in the goalkeeping department and provide Tyrer a chance to advance at the team he grew up playing for.
