The starting lineup for City will alter for the second of three games in seven days as they travel to the capital to take on a team that is also fighting for survival.

As he works to arrange a stretch of three games in seven days, Enzo Maresca has stated that he would rotate his team for the trip to Millwall.

After a thrilling victory over Birmingham late on, City won’t have much time to celebrate as Maresca’s team heads to the capital on Tuesday to take on another team that is in danger of relegation. However, keeping the team’s energy under control becomes more important now that they have another away game at Plymouth on Friday.

Thankfully, City may select from an almost totally fit roster. Many players who started the game on the bench on Saturday, including Jamie Vardy, James Justin, Conor Coady, Dennis Praet, and Hamza Choudhury, could be included in the lineup.

Maresca responded, “Yes, without a doubt, we’re going to make rotation.” “In one week, we have three games. It’s not simple. Without a doubt, we will rotate in some. We are going to attempt to control the energy somewhat.

City will draw strength from their consecutive wins over Norwich and Birmingham as well as their FA Cup victory (3-2) over Millwall earlier in the season. With Ben Nelson, Yunus Akgun, Marc Albrighton, Wanya Marcal, and Tom Cannon among the eleven, that was a very different City team.

In an effort to avoid relegation, Millwall has since fired Joe Edwards and appointed Neil Harris again. After losing to other struggling teams Rotherham and Huddersfield in Harris’s first four games back in charge, Millwall has only managed one point in their last four games. They are now separated from the bottom three by two points.

“Until the end, every game is important, not just for us but for all the clubs, because every team is playing for some target,” stated Maresca. It’s always a boost when you’re trying to survive. We must prepare for Tuesday because there will undoubtedly be a struggle with long balls and second balls. We may have difficulty if we are not prepared.
