George Evans and James Jones are currently sidelined due to injuries, but Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson is optimistic about their return before the end of the season.

Evans picked up a glute injury during the victory over Sutton United, while Jones suffered a hamstring problem against Notts County. Both players are facing longer recovery times than initially expected.

Despite their absence, Parkinson believes they will play some part in the final two months of the campaign, which includes 13 games. Meanwhile, Tom O’Connor, who has been playing as a left-sided center-back, is making progress in his recovery from a foot fracture but is not yet ready to return to action.

The team will continue to assess Evans and Jones, with the hope of clarifying their return timelines after further scans.
