Given that Dele Alli is unlikely to play a major role for Everton once more, Tottenham may lose out on $10 million.

£10 million will be paid to Tottenham if Alli makes 20 appearances for Everton.

Alli’s Everton contract expires this summer, so it doesn’t seem probable that he will accomplish that goal.

Tottenham attempted, but was unable, to renegotiate the payment in December, as reported by The Mirror.

Tottenham proposed lowering the payout to £8 million in exchange for a lowering of the necessary quantity of appearances.

Alli left Tottenham to join Everton in January 2022, but he hasn’t featured for the Toffees since August of that same year. The midfielder played 15 games and scored three goals while on loan at Besiktas during the previous campaign.

Alli signed a contract worth up to £40 million with Everton, which also included performance-related add-ons.

Over his tenure at Goodison Park, the 27-year-old has encountered numerous injury setbacks.

Alli talked last year about his difficulties with addiction as a result of his difficult upbringing.Following his most recent injury setback, Alli may not play for Everton this season.

The former England international underwent groin surgery and is a long way from returning. Everton manager Sean Dyche has acknowledged this.

Alli made 269 appearances and scored 67 goals for Tottenham between 2015 and 2022.
