The South London Press understands that conditions of an agreement have been substantially agreed upon, and Oliver Glasner is expected to be confirmed as the future manager of Crystal Palace.

The 49-year-old, who has been lodging at a Greenwich hotel, was seen on Saturday afternoon at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium watching Spurs lose 2-1 to Wolves at home.

On March 2, Palace will visit Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Since leaving Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the previous season, when he won the Europa League by defeating Real Betis, Barcelona, and West Ham en route to a 6-5 triumph against Rangers in a penalty shootout, Glasner has been unemployed.

On Monday night, the South Londoners take on Everton in a match that could be their last in the Premier League. Our tabloid understands that current manager Roy Hodgson is eager to play in some way after falling in training on Thursday. Palace would like confirmation that he was healthy enough to be at Goodison Park.
