Kallum Cesay, one of the several players released by Tottenham this summer when their contracts expired, has not yet found a new team.

The 21-year-old at Spurs had worked his way up the ranks after being promoted to the U18s in 2019, but he was never able to earn a position in the first squad.

The right-back eventually left Tottenham after his contract expired this summer, but he didn’t get the offers he wanted and now has another opportunity, according to Bild.

Cesay is trying to persuade Werder Bremen to bet on him despite the fact that he has already played four times for Sierra Leone.
An article about the defender and his present trial with the Bundesliga team, which may be his next stop after leaving Tottenham, can be found on Bild.

Of course, there is no assurance of that, but the international break has provided him with the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities.

Although Clemens Fritz, head of first team football at Werder, clarified what transpired, Bild reported that it was “a big surprise” to see him on the practice field.

We have known him for a very long time, he said. He was provided to us, and the present time during the international break is ideal. Young player Kallum received a top-notch schooling at Tottenham. The initial goal is for the player to practice with us for the upcoming few days, after which we’ll see how things turn out. There is still no sign of a decision. Neither outcome is certain.
