According to reports, Emmanuel Dennis of Nottingham Forest’s move to Turkey has fallen through.

The scouting staff at Trabzonspor allegedly produced a “positive report” on Dennis, according to the Turkish publication Sports Digitale. Dennis is also rumored to have been on the radar of the Saudi Arabian company Al-Tai, but the opening in the developing Middle Eastern market has passed.

Paul Onuachu, Dennis’ native countryman, is reportedly being considered by Trabzonspor despite being set to depart Southampton after a disastrous stint on the south coast, according to Own Goal Nigeria. According to The Daily Mail, Onuachu will undergo a medical before a transfer.

Dennis signed a four-year contract with the Reds one year ago after transferring from Watford. He had trouble contributing last season, though, and hasn’t played yet this one.
