Report: Crystal Palace’s £34m winger, Michael Olise prepared to snub PL giants, as he makes his choice.

Michael Olise, a winger for Crystal Palace, would prefer to sign with Manchester United over Chelsea during the summer transfer window, according to Football.London.

One of the Premier League’s most intriguing wide players, the 22-year-old is expected to depart Palace in the summer. His longtime admirer Chelsea made an attempt to sign him at the start of the season.

Football.london reports that Mauricio Pochettino’s team will make a move for Olise at the end of the season, but Olise will give a move to Manchester United priority as they are also keeping a close eye on his development.

While Olise was a youth, he spent several years at the Chelsea academy. However, the attacker is reportedly a devoted United supporter, which will help the Red devils.

Top-class winger

Olise has been contacting elite Premier League teams for a while now. Last summer, Chelsea activated a £34 million release clause in his contract; nevertheless, Palace persuaded him to extend it.

His release clause was raised to a larger amount as part of the new agreement, which hasn’t been revealed yet. Any club interested in signing him might have to pay the price to get him to leave Selhurst Park.

He is admired by Chelsea as well as United, but Olise seems to have a particular choice. Considering the Red Devils still lack a reliable right flank starter, it would be a wise move for his career.
