A Premier League club is ‘considering’ a transfer for an ex-Nottingham Forest player.
The forward left Nottingham Forest as a free agent at the end of last season, according to the most recent Nottingham Forest news.

According to sources, Premier League side Sheffield United are considering offering former Nottingham Forest forward Andre Ayew a contract following his departure from the City Ground this summer.

The 33-year-old joined Forest on a free transfer a year ago but left when his contract expired this summer. He appeared in 13 Premier League games as Forest maintained their spot in the league this season.

Ayew has been looking for a new club since leaving the City Ground, but he has yet to find one. According to reports, he may be granted another chance in the Premier League.

TEAMtalk reports that recently promoted Sheffield United are considering providing the attacker a short-term contract in order to bring some Premier League experience to their squad. Ayew, being a free agent, can be signed outside of the transfer window.

The Blades earned promotion to the Premier League after finishing second in the Championship at the end of last season. They have one point from their first four games of the season, with one of the defeats coming at the City Ground, when Chris Wood’s late goal gave Forest all three points.

Ayew has appeared in 102 Premier League games, scoring 21 goals. He has formerly played for West Ham United, Swansea City, Fenerbahce of Turkey, and Marseille of France.
