Crysencio Summerville of Leeds United is allegedly on Unai Emery’s wishlist as Aston Villa gets ready to take on Liverpool in their hunt for a new wide attacker.

The Villians, along with Brighton and Hove Albion, have reportedly identified Leeds United’s in-form number 10 as a “long-term” transfer target. This is according to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider.

Even if a move for the 22-year-old Dutchman is unlikely to happen this month, the three Premier League clubs may make a bid in the summer window, particularly if the Whites are not promoted.

Summerville, who has already tallied 12 goals and six assists in his first 23 Championship games, is having an incredible individual season and is without a doubt one of the team’s key players.

But that kind of form often attracts unwanted attention, and Leeds will know their Rotterdam-born attacker will be difficult to hold onto beyond this season, as Liverpool are reputedly among the youngster’s admirers.

Brighton and Villa, on the other hand, will both believe they merit further thought. For athletes that wish to advance and further their careers, both clubs are quite tempting.

However, the allure of Anfield and working under Jurgen Klopp might be too strong to resist, so supporters will be curious to watch how this story plays out.
