In addition to scoring goals in each of the previous five Everton games, squad members have made significant contributions on the field.

Andre Gomes made it five straight games that a reserve player scored for the Blues, and Sean Dyche commended the squad members’ contributions to Everton’s success this season.

The midfield player recorded one goal and one assist in his debut competitive minutes under Dyche, if not for VAR’s intervention and Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario’s efforts. It was a remarkable comeback for the midfielder, whose season had been derailed by injury, despite the close loss.

With a packed schedule leading up to Christmas, Dyche is willing to admit that his small squad is being tested by injuries.

However, he has been working for months to raise and uphold standards even among the non-players, and the results have been astounding. Gomes is the most recent player to demonstrate that he can benefit Dyche.

Everton’s run of form has been crucial in helping them clear the relegation zone, despite being plagued by injury and suspension. Key players like Ashley Young, Amadou Onana, Vitalii Mykolenko, and Seamus Coleman have all missed games this month. However, with the exception of Coleman, all have featured in most of the club’s games this campaign.

Everton won four consecutive league games, each while keeping a clean sheet. They were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Fulham on penalties and suffered a narrow defeat to Spurs. Beto has scored twice from the bench, as have Lewis Dobbin and Gomes. Michael Keane scored and earned the man of the match accolade when called upon against Burnley.

Ben Godfrey made his first start of the season at Turf Moor and produced a spectacular clearance to prevent Burnley from a goal. Arnaut Danjuma was denied an equaliser at Spurs by a stunning Vicario save and a combination of the underside of the crossbar and the keeper.

Dyche, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has been praised for the support provided by players in recent weeks. He believes that he has been able to maintain high standards in training for players on the fringe of involvement, which is essential given the size of his squad.

Dyche has praised the players for their dedication and hard work in training, a mentality he has been striving to build since joining the club. The players are now aligning more and showing respect for each other, building a true bond.

Dyche believes that the underbelly of a side is what he is working on, and he believes that guiding them towards this goal has been excellent in the last few months. This has helped the players own and feel a sense of ownership and responsibility in their training.
