According to reports, Crystal Palace is in the favorite to recruit Juventus’ £22-rated Argentine winger Matias Soule when he becomes available next month.

The injury issue that the Magpies are facing may force them to bolster their options in January as a result of their drastically depleted roster.

According to Football Italia, Eddie Howe’s team and Palace are in the lead to sign Soule, who is presently on loan at Frosinone, according to Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 20-year-old star has impressed at the mid-table side, scoring six goals in 12 Serie A appearances to date.

Soule made 21 appearances for Juventus before his loan move this season and has also made seven appearances for Argentina’s U20 side.

According to reports, Juventus intends to acquire money for the January transfer window by selling some of its young players to Premier League teams.

Samuel Iling-Junior, an England winger, is reportedly up for sale next month, with Brighton, Aston Villa, and Tottenham among the Premier League teams reportedly interested.

Juventus could extend an offer to Frosinone to loan promising center-back Dean Huijsen until the summer in an attempt to persuade them to cut ways with Soule.

Tuesday night, Newcastle was defeated by Chelsea in a penalty shootout, sending them out of the Carabao Cup.

The Magpies have 11 injuries going into the game; Joelinton and Fabian Schar were the most recent additions to an already long list.

Man City midfielder Kalvin Phillips and goalkeepers David de Gea and Hugo Lloris are among the names they have been connected to. Nick Pope, on the other hand, will miss four months of action due to shoulder surgery.
