The home of the defender was broken into on Saturday; the family of the former France international was inside, but no one was hurt.

West Ham United, based in London, has announced a £25,000 reward on Monday, seeking information about the recent burglary at the residence of French football player Kurt Zouma over the weekend.

In an official statement, the club expressed their offer of a £25,000 reward for details leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the individuals who broke into defender Kurt Zouma’s home just before the Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace last weekend.

The statement further explained that the break-in occurred on Saturday while Zouma’s entire family was present in the house, causing considerable distress. Although no physical harm was inflicted, the incident was traumatic for the West Ham defender, his wife, and their young family.

West Ham emphasized that the burglars took items of “significant value and of huge personal and sentimental importance to the family.” The club encouraged anyone with information about the case to contact them via email, ensuring that the information would be shared with the police.

As a result of the burglary, Zouma did not participate in the Sunday match against Crystal Palace, which concluded in a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium.

The 29-year-old, a former France international, joined West Ham in 2021 after stints with Chelsea and Everton. Zouma has achieved notable success, winning the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea in 2021 and the UEFA Europa Conference League with West Ham in June. Additionally, he contributed to Chelsea’s English title victories in 2015 and 2017.
