Crystal Palace and Fulham are said to be interested in acquiring the services of Ajax forward Chuba Akpom.

Crystal Palace and Fulham are reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing back 28-year-old Ajax forward Chuba Akpom to English football. Both clubs have made inquiries about the player, and Ajax is said to be open to considering a loan deal in January.

Akpom had an impressive stint in the Championship last season, scoring 29 goals for Middlesbrough and earning the Championship Player of the Year title. A return to English football offers an appealing opportunity for Akpom, and the loan move could be a strategic move for both clubs, providing them with added strength in their squads.

Crystal Palace’s offense needs additional depth, and Akpom could split the scoring load with Odsonne Edouard and Jean-Philippe Mateta. Fulham are yet to sign a quality replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic, and the 28-year-old Ajax forward might be a handy alternative.
