Bryan Cristante might be sold by AS Roma to Tottenham in January for €30 million.

Bryan Cristante of AS Roma is reportedly a target for Tottenham Hotspur, according to an Italian publication called Il Romanista.

They contend that the midfield player is the foundation of Jose Mourinho’s team and that he is “irreplaceable.” But if Spurs make an offer in January that is more than €30 million, Roma might think about selling him halfway through the season.

It seems that Jose Mourinho thinks highly of the Italy international. This season, he has participated in 16 games across all competitions, tallying three assists and two goals. A little background on Cristante. He is a 28-year-old defensive midfielder who has been with I Giallorossi since his original loan transfer from Atalanta in the summer of 2018.

He is an excellent passer with excellent ball control who specializes in shielding his defenders. Cristante works hard and is a dependable player, with only a few significant injuries since the 2019-20 season.

The 36-cap Italy international’s contract expires in the summer of 2027, therefore Roma have a significant influence in the player’s future. However, the pricing listed above is reasonable.

Cristante is an experienced midfielder who would be an asset to any squad. Given that we already have Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Pape Matar Sarr in central midfield, Ange Postecoglou should have a strategy in place for where he intends to play the former Atalanta man.
