Hugo Ekitike’s journey at Paris Saint-Germain has taken an unexpected turn. The striker, who hoped for an exit from the French capital last summer, now finds himself in a precarious position.

Reports from RMC Sport, courtesy of Fabrice Hawkins, suggest that the 21-year-old is facing challenges both on and off the pitch, painting a picture of a strained relationship with PSG that dates back to the previous season.

But what has led to Ekitike’s fall from grace at PSG? Criticism of his performances and attitude from certain quarters within the club has seemingly put him in an unfavorable position.

Recent reports indicate that a new chapter in Ekitike’s career may be on the horizon, with a possible move away from Paris. AC Milan is said to be keen on securing his services, a link that was established during the summer transfer window.

In the Premier League, three clubs have entered the race for the Frenchman’s signature: West Ham United, Everton, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Hammers and Toffees had previously shown interest in the former Stade de Reims forward during the summer transfer period.

The latest addition to the competition is Wolverhampton Wanderers. As we approach the January transfer window, the battle to secure Ekitike’s talents is set to heat up, and it remains to be seen which club will emerge as the victor.
