Mads Hermansen, the shot-stopper for Leicester City, said it was “almost a no-brainer” for him to sign with the Foxes in the summer, despite interest from other teams.

In the summer transfer window, Hermansen moved from Brondby to Enzo Maresca’s team on a five-year contract.

During their search for a new number 1 this summer, Leicester narrowed in on the Danish player and eventually signed him.

Other teams expressed interest in Hermansen, and the Danish goalkeeper indicated that Leicester’s possible plan for him was superior to those of his other suitors.

He continued by saying that after weighing his options, he decided to sign with the Foxes since the King Power Stadium will provide him with the best opportunity.

Hermansen was described by Danish outlet Bold.dk as saying, “It was my own first real transfer window and I had not really experienced how it worked before.”

Naturally, a number of teams expressed interest, and my entourage and I discussed the best course of action.

It was nearly a ‘no-brainer’ in terms of the strategy Leicester proposed when they entered the picture.

Leicester arrived with the ideal circumstances and opening.
Hermansen has so far put up good performances for Maresca’s team this season, and he plans to play in the Premier League next year.
