Youri Tielemans’ agents have explicitly dismissed any claims that he wishes to leave Aston Villa and have stated that no such plans exist.

Following allegations in England that Tielemans was aiming to leave Aston Villa as soon as possible, La Dernière Heure in Belgium approached them.

The midfielder joined the Villans on a free transfer from Leicester in the summer as part of the club’s sustained financial support for Unai Emery.

He was expecting to pick up where he left off after a rough few months at Leicester, where he battled to find his best form and failed to assist the club avoid relegation.

That has not been the case, with him so far failing to establish himself in Aston Villa’s lineup, where the midfield is brimming with talent and Emery appears hesitant to modify what has been a winning formula.

Tielemans has already openly expressed his displeasure with the situation, but according to a rumor in England, he is now planning to quit in January and relocate owing to deteriorating relations with his manager.
However, it appears that this is not the case, at least according to his agents, who have fiercely disputed such reports to La Dernière Heure.

The newspaper contacted Tielemans’ entourage, who ‘officially denies’ any difficult connection with Emery.

The club accepts and says it is “obvious” that his current situation is difficult, but the player “remains determined” to make the most of his time at the club and “wants to fight for his place.”

Furthermore, they insist that a difficult few months at Villa Park will not call his transfer choice into doubt, and that leaving is “not at all on the agenda.”

It remains to be seen whether this puts a stop to the rumors around the Aston Villa man, but it appears he and his entourage are eager to put out any fires before they spread.
