West Ham United has already invested a significant chunk of money during the summer transfer window to improve every aspect of their squad.

The Hammers have one of the most new-look Premier League squads compared to previous season and fans were fairly delighted with the window they had.

But Julen Lopetegui’s team hasn’t quite had the desired outcome as they are currently five points outside of the European positions in the top tier, sitting in fourteenth place.

The team’s offensive still appears to be lacking, and Niclas Fullkrug’s absence has forced the Spaniard to rely on Danny Ings and Michail Antonio.

Omar Marmoush of Eintracht Frankfurt is currently thought to be heading towards West Ham, despite the fact that the former managed to tie the score against Fulham in the 95th minute [teamTALK, 16 September].

It is also said that his agency already want to move him on, too.

Omar Marmoush to sign for West Ham United?

Although West Ham bolstered their attacking ranks over the summer, with Fullkrug now sidelined, Lopetegui has found himself fielding both Antonio and Ings despite their poor performances last term.

Marmoush is a stellar Bundesliga talent who managed to bag 17 goals across all competitions last term and even chipped in with six assists.

The striker is also just 25 years old so despite his already clinical nature, there is still plenty of time for the number nine to be improved as his career goes on.

West Ham United's London Stadium

Although Fullkrug will undoubtedly be West Ham’s first-choice striker, the Hammers won’t have as much depth as they would have at the end of the season because Antonio and Ings’ contracts will have ended.

Even if a deal isn’t reached until the summer, when Ings’ contract at the London Stadium expires [GiveMeSport, 16 September], it would still make a lot of sense to add the Eintracht Frankfurt star to Lopetegui’s squad.
