fresh Wolves information from BirminghamLive features a significant Premier League TV decision

According to reports, Wolverhampton Wanderers will be impacted by the Premier League’s plans for a significant change in TV schedule.

This season, one game has been shown live on either Monday or Friday night, with an early kickoff and a late kickoff frequently occurring in between the Saturday games at 3 p.m., and two games have been broadcast live on Sunday. However, The Telegraph claims things will alter.

There will reportedly be 25% more live broadcasts of Premier League games. The amount of games that will supposedly be accessible to watch on Sundays will rise to four, with one of those games beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Saturday 3pm blackout for women’s football is apparently about to be removed in an effort to increase watching numbers. According to reports, a meeting was held in London on Monday to progress planning for the first billion-pound women’s football league.

The top two women’s divisions will apparently be independently managed by a private equity firm dubbed “NewCo.” To increase attendance, discussions are focused on shifting the women’s football kickoffs from 6:30 pm to 3 pm.

Next month, amid negotiations, five sets of 50 match packs are reportedly going out to tender. On Thursday, there is another meeting set when plans for the rights sell-off are anticipated to be reviewed.

The Premier League is still committed to UEFA’s Article 48, which permits members to specify a two-and-a-half hour weekend window during which live football is not shown on screens.
