Breaking Jean-Ricner Bellegarde News, Updates and Opinion - Molineux News

Max Kilman has spoken about new Wolves recruit Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, admitting that he has impressed in training.

Wolves’ final signing of the summer window was the Frenchman.

He arrived from Strasbourg for just around £13 million. Wolves officials were forced to fly to France to finalise the transfer since time was running short on deadline day.

The deal was completed, and Bellegarde made his debut for the club against Liverpool on Saturday.

And the 25-year-old performed admirably at Molineux.

And the performance may not have surprised Kilman, who has been exercising with him for the past two weeks…

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde impressed Max Kilman in Wolves training Wolves had a handful of players abroad on international duty.

Kilman, on the other hand, was one of a few players who stayed behind. Bellegarde was similarly uncapped for France.

As a result, the Molineux skipper has had a good look at his new teammate. And he’s enjoyed what he’s seen thus far.

“We’ve been watching him train the last couple of weeks and he’s been brilliant,” he stated (Express & Star). That was to be expected (against Liverpool). We knew we had a good player, and he’ll be a big assistance to us this season.

“He’s a very quiet, nice guy, like a lot of the players on this team.” We just need to keep working as a team, and the results and performances will follow.”

And you’d think he’ll just become better as he gets to know his new colleagues and the manager’s strategies.

Hopefully, Bellegarde, whom Wolves attempted to sign in January, will quickly establish himself as a vital player in midfield and contribute a few goals and assists.
