According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton has given Dominic Calvert-Lewin a new deal to ward off transfer interest from Newcastle.

Eddie Howe, an Everton lad from childhood, wants to lure the England international to St. James’ Park, according to a press story published on May 30.

Representatives for Calvert-Lewin and the Toffees are in talks, but no new agreement has been reached as of yet.
